Andy’s Story
Andy’s extensive legal experience includes over 100 tried cases to jury verdict throughout North and South Carolina in state, federal and tribal court. He has also appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the North Carolina Supreme Court and the North Carolina Court of Appeals. His broad spectrum of legal expertise includes ADR and Mediation, Business Litigation, Defamation, Libel and Slander, Litigation, Municipal Law and Wrongful Death. Andy is a Certified North Carolina Superior Court Mediator and holds an AV rating with Martindale Hubbell.
Licensed to practice in both North and South Carolina, Andy is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for all Districts of North Carolina, the United States District Court for South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
Having grown up in High Point, Andy has spent the vast majority of his life living and working all over the Carolinas. He obtained a Bachelors of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina and completed law school at Wake Forest. He has been practicing law since 1996.
Andy lives in Union County, North Carolina with his wife, two children and numerous rescue animals. He enjoys hiking, camping and history and is on the Board of the Directors of Carolina Waterfowl Rescue.
